Despite his recent decision about leaving professional cycling Lance
still occupies cycling world. The Texan is still facing his old doping
nightmares.
US Federals are already cooperating with French authorities in order
to prove whether Floyd Landis’ allegations are right. This is unofficial
information though, by an anonymous source reported by Reuters. The same
source said that Americans have met with French agents responsible for
the issue and members of Interpol as well!
Back in 2005, the French newspaper L’ Equipe had reported that that
traces of the substance EPO had been found in the blood sample of
Armstrong. The Texan has never proven guilty and the case remained
unsolved until now. Landis has also handed a two-year suspension and
stripped of the Tour title after he tested positive for high levels of
testosterone during the race.
