EUROBIKE 2010 ended last Saturday, September the 4th. Bncycling.com
was there, in Friedrichshafen, during the whole time! We visited this
great show and now we present you the most exciting moments.
The 19th edition of EUROBIKE show was the largest ever with 41,482
visitors, traders from 102 countries, 1732 journalists and 22,300 fans
of the bicycle during day that it was open to the public. A vast area
was properly configured to host the kiosks of the manufacturers and
other exhibitors as well.
The four days was hardly enough to explore
all the exhibits. Nevertheless we were able take a look at the latest
models from popular brands such as KONA and 4EVER .We were also
introduced to new brands and had the opportunity to witness the most
peculiar designs of 2011. At the same time, we were able to get an idea
of upcoming innovations in parts and find out what is new in
accessories, clothing, etc. Last but not least we were able to ride
several types of bicycles (mountain, electric) and check out their
performance.
Apart from the exhibition, the program included a series of events,
activities and forums. On the first day the EUROBIKE award ceremony took
place (EUROBIKE AWARD 2010, EUROBIKE GOLD award 2010, EUROBIKE AWARD
Students) with nominations per product category. One of the most
spectacular events that we had the opportunity to watch was a contest
named «King of Dirt Jump» for mountain bikers, BMX and 4 Cross riders.
The riders showed their talent at dangerous stunts on the track and
amused the visitors. In conclusion, Eurobike 2010 was an unforgettable show.
